Industry standard high quality waterproof silicon carbide Wet / Dry sandpaper

After sanding the gloss coat to 400 grit, start wet sanding your surfboard at 600 grit and move up in grits (800, 1000, 1200+) to eliminate the previous grit's scratches and provide a nice sheen. For a high gloss look follow up with compound and polish.
