"The What I Ride" The Robert August What I Ride is the board Robert takes around the world during his surf travels. It makes sense to ride a board that maximizes your fun regardless of the conditions. "What I Ride" utilizes a 60/40 rail configuration which, in combination with a nifty tear drop concave conveniently placed under the 18" wide nose, greatly enhances your style of nose riding.

This board is not just a "rip off" of Roberts design,  It is an authorized kit that was painstakingly reproduced from an original "What I Ride" loaned to WSS by Robert August Surfboards.  The rail and bottom profiles will give a properly built kit the same riding experience as the original  but with the flex and personality of a wood board.

The basic hollow wood surfboard kit contains the CNC-cut ribs and spar.  Other materials needed to complete the board include wood for the decking, fiberglass & resin, fin, and vent.
