The Ultimate Polyester Surfboard Repair Kit is designed for surfers who want a real repair kit — not a tiny one-and-done tube of resin that barely fixes a single crack. With enough material for multiple repairs over years of riding, this complete kit is capable of handling everything from everyday pressure dings and rail cracks to major structural damage like snapped boards, buckles, crushed noses, fin box damage, and delaminations.

The included fiberglass cloth and gererous volume of polyester resin make it possible to repair large damaged areas that smaller ding kits simply cannot handle. 

Also, want a really quick fix? Add UV powder to your resin batch when laminating the fiberglass and it'll cure in about 3 minutes when placed in the sun. (Note: Use the MEKP catalyst with Q-cell/resin slurry for filling deep dings, the UV won't penetrate far enough to fully cure)

• 1 pint Silmar 2880 Polyester Resin

Add UV powder or MEKP Catalyst per chart with included measured mixing cups.

  • 8 ml UV Cure Powder Additive (optional for really quick cure)
  • 1 oz MEKP Catalyst (add to resin to cure)
  • 1 oz Surfacing Wax (add to resin for hotcoating your repair)
  • 1 oz Graduated Chemical Measuring Cup

• 1/2 Yard of 4 oz. Fiberglass Cloth

Enough fiberglass for anything from small rail dings to repairing a snapped surfboard.

• Large Jar of Q-Cell Resin Thickener

Add to resin to fill crushed foam, missing foam, deep dings, and large cavities.

• Resin Squeegee

For laminating fiberglass cloth and spreading resin evenly over damaged areas.

• 60 Grit Sandpaper
