About this blank:

The "SB Series" of Greenlight's Engineered EPS Surfboard Blanks is designed for modern shortboards with a generous continuous rocker suited for steeper and hollower waves. The SB Series blanks feature a fuller thickness and foil to accommodate board designs with a bit more volume to handle the extra winter wetsuit weight and provide easier paddling to get into waves a bit earlier. Your East Coast winter or surf-trip-to-good-waves board starts with one of these EPS SB Series blanks.

3 Steps to Order:

1. Select Your Blank Length in the Drop Down Menu

2. Select Your Blank Thickness in the Drop Down Menu

No power planer needed if you order your blank around 1/4" thicker than your final shape. You'll quickly lose that 1/4" of foam when scrubbing the blank and rolling your rails into the deck when shaping. Or you can order a blank thicker to practice shaping and have plenty of foam to play with.

3. Select the STRINGER OF YOUR CHOICE in the Drop Down Menu

If you're not adding a wood or High Density Foam stringer we recommend using carbon fiber reinforcements with stringerless blanks for flex control and strength.
