About this blank:

The "U Series" of Greenlight's Engineered EPS Surfboard Blanks is the “Utility” blank style in which most any style of board can be shaped from including thicker, wider boards for heavier surfers. Plenty of foam for first time shapers to “get the feel of shaping” and still yield the desired surfboard dimensions they are aiming for without over shaping. The U Series is also a great choice for machining.

3 Steps to Order:

1. Select Your Blank Length in the Drop Down Menu

2. Select Your Blank Thickness in the Drop Down Menu

No power planer needed if you order your blank around 1/4" thicker than your final shape. You'll quickly lose that 1/4" of foam when scrubbing the blank and rolling your rails into the deck when shaping. Or you can order a blank thicker to practice shaping and have plenty of foam to play with.

3. Select the STRINGER OF YOUR CHOICE in the Drop Down Menu

If you're not adding a wood or High Density Foam stringer we recommend using carbon fiber reinforcements with stringerless blanks for flex control and strength.
