QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Can this tool be cuped or bent to allow me to use it to hollow out for a concave bottom on a blank for a foil board?
The tool cannot be modified but concaves are shaped with flat tools by scrubbing the center of the concave down to your desired depth and then "scooping" the foam from the center to the rails on an arc. Just think about shaping a spoon in the bottom of the board. Follow up the rough cut concave with a soft Flexpad shaping block to finish
Does it come in different grits? What kind of marks does it leave?
The G-rasp is only available in 16 grit abrasive. It is used for aggressive foam removal and to be followed with higher grit sandpaper or screen to remove any scratches in the foam.
