The installation instructions refer to the green fin cavity stickers to prevent resin from seeping in to the plug. How do I get these?
The green stickers that prevent resin from getting into the fin boxes are supplied with each set of FCS II finboxes
I built a board with your kit using eastern white.cedar 1/4 inch thick for covering and have balsa between top and bottom of the tail where the tail fin is to be installed using fcs2 fin boxes .What do you recommend to glue your fin boxes into wood Epoxy? Polyurethane? Waterproof wood glue?
Epoxy resin is used to install the fin boxes in a hollow wood surfboard. The same resin you'll use to fiberglass the board...
In the install video they say to mix cabosil/fcs powder with the epoxy. Do you sell this or something similar?

Does the bit work on wooden surfboards? Or do I have to adapt another bit?
Fcs states that this is the only bit that will work with their routing system and it will work for wood boards. The bit may dull over time but no issue to route through wood.
hi i was just wondering what the right and left lines are for on the fcs 2 jig
The FCS II Finbox install kit has left and right lines marked on it for correct alignment depending the side of the board you are installing the finbox on.

Is the FCS 2 jig different than the Fusion jig?
Yes, the FCS II install jig is a different jig from Fusion and they can not be interchanged.
Hi guys, Do you use cabosil and laminating polyester resin to set the FCS2 fin boxes when using polyester resin and non eps blanks ? Or is it best to use glass powder when using polyester laminating resin and a standard blank ? Cheers Dean
Install FCS II fin boxes with resin only, no need to thicken the resin with cab-o-sil
What size is the router bit? 1/2 in or 1/4 in?
The FCS install router bit is 1/2" diameter with a 1/4" shank
